Harris Announces Mark J. Sibley VP of Customer Service Support
Peachtree City, GA, August, 20 2008
Harris Waste Management Group, Inc. announces the appointment of Mark J. Sibley as Vice President – Customer Service Support. Mark will assume responsibility for Harris’s global parts and service network of operations. Harris maintains parts and service operations in Cordele, Georgia; Baxley, Georgia; Portland, Oregon; San Antonio Texas; and Malmesbury, England. In addition, authorized service is provided by a large network of domestic distributors located throughout the United States.
Mark holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. His background includes posts of increasing responsibility related to operations, project management, key account management, field operations management and customer service. Mark will assume this position in September, 2008 and be based from Cordele, Georgia. Mark will relocate from Leesburg, Virginia.

Awarded WASTEC’s Employee of the Year Ed Simpson – Engineering; Donny Barber – Production

Two Harris employees were awarded employee of the year for Wastec/EIA 2008. Ed Simpson, Harris’ R & D Manager was chosen for the Wastec Engineering award and Donny Barber Harris’ Two-Ram Supervisor received the Wastec Production Award.
Ed Simpson has been with Harris for over 12 years and he has 24 years of experience in this industry. He has a BSME from North Carolina State and holds a professional Engineering license. Ed calls South Carolina home.
Donny Barber has been with Harris for over 20 years. He recently graduated as a Supervisory Management Specialist and completed a World Class Manufacturing course conducted by the Department of Business and Industry. He currently resides in Warwick Georgia with his wife of 11 years and daughter.

Harris Welcomes Ridley Stone As Midwest District Sales Manager

Harris (Harris) is pleased to announce Ridley Stone as the Midwest District Sales Manager. Ridley comes to Harris with 10 years experience in business to business sales.
Ridley is a graduate of Kelly School of Business, Indiana University, with a B.S. in Marketing. He has experience with heavy equipment sales, material handlers, cranes and construction and mining equipment, “Ridley brings exceptional experience and communication skills to this position and we are thrilled to have him on board” said Bob Pfeffer, VP Sales Western Division. “Ridley is looking forward to a long career with Harris.
Harris Congratulates Holly Waters For completing her CTSM Program

Holly Waters has completed her Certified Trade
Show Marketer (CTSM) accreditation program, the only university affiliated certification program in the trade show industry.
Holly began her career with Harris in 2003, she was hired as the administrative assistant to the VP’s. She was asked to take on an additional role with coordinating trade shows in 2004. She never looked back. She currently manages both positions which keep her quite busy. Holly began her certification process in 2005 to improve the trade show marketing program. She has successfully completed all of the CTSM program requirements: a 28-course core curriculum, a comprehensive examination and acceptance of an Electronic Candidate Portfolio. Holly was recognized as a new CTSM graduate at the annual awards ceremony at March EXHIBITOR2008, in Las Vegas.
“We are very excited to have Holly on our team. She brings a professionalism with a can do attitude and is very adaptable to all situations. We look forward to utilizing her expertise and knowledge in the trade show arena,” said Coleen Helland, Marketing Supervisor of Harris.
Created in 1992, the Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) program, sponsored by EXHIBITOR, is affiliated with Northern Illinois University Outreach to assure academic standards are met. All CEUs earned in the program are awarded by NIU. EXHIBITOR’s CTSM program has over 2,000 professionals enrolled.
Harris Appoints Jon Lanker Ferrous Product Sales Manager
Peachtree City, GA - April 21, 2008
Jon Lanker has been appointed Ferrous Product Sales Manager for (Harris) Harris Jon Lanker will operate out of his Indianapolis, Indiana location. He will manage the sales activity of the Harris ferrous equipment and the C & G Product line. Jon will be responsible for supporting the Regional Sales Managers and International Agents in the ferrous equipment applications and increase the presence of Harris as a leader in the manufacture of products for the scrap processing industry.
Jon has more than 42 years of experience, 37 of those years with Harris. “We are excited to have Jon on our management team and look forward to utilizing his knowledge of the industry, the equipment, customer service, and the competition. He will strengthen Harris as an industry leader”, stated Doug Sebastian, Vice President of Harris.
Jon resides with his wife of 35 years in Indianapolis, Indiana. When he has spare time Jon’s hobbies include reading, gardening and sporting events.
