Materials Designed to Process
The Harris distributed, Ecotecnica manufactured Manta 54 is ruggedly designed small footprint baler/logger, perfect for operations that need a transportable or permanently staionary machine.
Attention to Detail
The placement of the Manta 54′s compression box hinges provides virtually no exposure to scrap when the baler/logger is in the closed position, virtually eliminating wear on the hinges.
Minimal Site Requirements
The Manta’s design and construction eliminate the need for site preparation or elaborate foundation requirements. Manta balers only require a stable surface for operation.
Optional Roll On – Roll Off System
The perfect feature for mobile scrap processing. The system adds rollers and a hook-up bar to the baler structure for easier loading and unloading.
Reliable Power
The Manta comes with a reliable power system, mounted to the rear of the machine, driven by either diesel power, perfect for the transportable models, or electric drive, for a stationary model.
Hydraulics, with Maintainability in Mind
Strategic design
Hose and hydraulic piping placement throughout the machine allows for easy access to machine components while continuing to maintain a small, manageable footprint.
The side cylinders are designed with functionality, accessibility and removal in mind. Perfect for replacement or routine maintenance.
Rugged Outlook
Split flange hose couplings are used on all primary connections – providing a more rugged and leak resistant connection than threaded hose connections.
Total Control
The Manta 54 comes with a remote control operating unit. The control is worn around the operators waist. Backup controls are included on the face of the electric cabinet, which is mounted and prewired into the power unit at the rear of the machine.
Available with either Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC.
A Little Extra
Unlimited Foundations
The Manta requires limited or no foundations for operations. This may limit the permits required for operation. All a Manta 54 baler/logger requires is a stable surface for safe operations.
Maintainable Design
The Manta is designed with ease-of-maintenance in mind. All piping is exterior facing to allow easy access for routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Oil filters are highly accessible for easy changes.
