The Harris distributed, Ecotecnica manufactured Orca is ruggedly designed small footprint baler/logger, with available attached crane, for mobile, transportable and staionary operations.
Attention to Detail
The Orca is designed with a rugged and robust principle in mind. The structure is designed to allow both maximum protection and access to critical components, while maintaining a small footprint.
Minimal Site Requirements
The Orca’s design and construction eliminate the need for site preparation or elaborate foundation requirements. Orca balers only require a stable surface for operation.
Reliable Power
The Orca comes with a reliable power system driven by either diesel power, perfect for the transportable or mobile models, or electric drive, for a stationary model.
Hydraulics, with Maintainability in Mind
Strategic design
Hose and hydraulic piping placement throughout the machine allows for easy access to machine components while continuing to maintain a small, manageable footprint.
Rugged Outlook
Split flange hose couplings are used on all primary connections – providing a more rugged and leak resistant connection than threaded hose connections.
Total Control

With Crane
The operator’s controls are located in the crane cab. This setup is perfect for single person operations.
Without Crane
Without the crane the Orca’s controls are worn around the operators waist. This remote setup allows for operational flexibility.
A Little Extra

Unlimited Foundations
The Orca requires limited or no foundations for operations. This may limit the permits required for operation. All an Orca baler requires is a stable surface for safe operations.
The Orca is also available for use on a trailer for the ultimate in transportable/mobile operations. You can take your machine to the material. The customer supplied trailer must have an appropriately sized stabilizing jack system in order to operate the baler while it is on the trailer.
Maintainable Design
The Orca is designed with ease-of-maintenance in mind. All piping is exterior facing to allow easy access for routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Oil filters are highly accessible for easy changes.
